The 2-Phase approach involves early intervention for children aged 5 - 11 to guide natural jaw development and make later orthodontic (ages 11 - 18) treatment shorter and less invasive during their teenage years.
Early treatment helps prevent bigger orthodontic problems by addressing natural growth patterns and symptoms that might not be linked to orthodontic issues.
Phase 2 focuses on fine-tuning smiles and bites using braces or Invisalign, as jaw development and functionality issues were addressed during Phase 1.
